Our Story
Born from a
obsession with
real bread.
LaBou Roseville started with a simple frustration: the bread in this town had gotten soft — both in texture and in standards. We wanted something that tasted like bread actually should: tangy, complex, with a crust that sang.
So we built a bakery the slow way. Stone-milled flour from Valley wheat. A 48-hour cold ferment that develops flavor no accelerated process can mimic. A stone deck oven that delivers the kind of crust you only get when heat and time are on your side.
Today, LaBou is more than a bakery — it's a destination for people who believe food should be made with conviction. Every loaf, every pastry, every jar on our pantry shelves is something we'd serve our own families. If it doesn't meet that bar, it doesn't make it to the counter.
